Upcoming Trainings

We provide trainings on different aspects of inclusion and developmental screening. All our trainings are free and open to San Francisco early care and education providers and families. Visit our upcoming training page for more information on future events.


Citywide Training

Free workshops for early care and education program staff and families provide practical information and strategies on inclusion.
Topics include the foundations of inclusion, universal design for learning, screening and referral systems, partnering with families, and adapting curriculum for children with disabilities.

Inclusion Coaching

Inclusion coaches provide short-term, on-site training and technical assistance to Preschool for All (PFA) programs.
Coaches work with staff on strengthening internal systems and developmentally appropriate inclusive practices that foster the inclusion of children with disabilities and their families.

Pilot Sites

Intensive training and coaching was provided to support three San Francisco early childhood programs as they included young children with special needs.
The three programs were piloting various approaches to show how an intentional focus on inclusive practices results in program staff who feel competent and confident in including children with disabilities.
